Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.

By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.

Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ÀÏ°ö° ³¯À» º¹ ÁÖ»ç °Å·èÇÏ°Ô ÇϼÌÀ¸´Ï ÀÌ´Â Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ±× âÁ¶ÇÏ½Ã¸ç ¸¸µå½Ã´ø ¸ðµç ÀÏÀ» ¸¶Ä¡½Ã°í ÀÌ ³¯¿¡ ¾È½ÄÇϼÌÀ½ÀÌ´õ¶ó

And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created. When the LORD God made the earth and the heavens--

¿©È£¿Í Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ¶¥¿¡ ºñ¸¦ ³»¸®Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¼Ì°í °æÀÛÇÒ »ç¶÷µµ ¾ø¾úÀ¸¹Ç·Î µé¿¡´Â ÃʸñÀÌ ¾ÆÁ÷ ¾ø¾ú°í ¹ç¿¡´Â ä¼Ò°¡ ³ªÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´À¸¸ç

and no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for the LORD God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no man to work the ground,

¾È°³¸¸ ¶¥¿¡¼ ¿Ã¶ó¿Í ¿Â Áö¸éÀ» Àû¼Ì´õ¶ó

but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground--

the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

¿©È£¿Í Çϳª´ÔÀÌ µ¿¹æÀÇ ¿¡µ§¿¡ µ¿»êÀ» â¼³ÇÏ½Ã°í ±× ÁöÀ¸½Å »ç¶÷À» °Å±â µÎ½Ã°í

Now the LORD God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed.

¿©È£¿Í Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ±× ¶¥¿¡¼ º¸±â¿¡ ¾Æ¸§´ä°í ¸Ô±â¿¡ ÁÁÀº ³ª¹«°¡ ³ª°Ô ÇÏ½Ã´Ï µ¿»ê °¡¿îµ¥¿¡´Â »ý¸í³ª¹«¿Í ¼±¾ÇÀ» ¾Ë°Ô ÇÏ´Â ³ª¹«µµ ÀÖ´õ¶ó

And the LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground--trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

°ÀÌ ¿¡µ§¿¡¼ ¹ß¿øÇÏ¿© µ¿»êÀ» Àû½Ã°í °Å±â¼ºÎÅÍ °¥¶óÁ® ³× ±Ù¿øÀÌ µÇ¾úÀ¸´Ï

A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters.

ù°ÀÇ À̸§Àº ºñ¼ÕÀ̶ó ±ÝÀÌ ÀÖ´Â ÇÏÀª¶ó ¿Â ¶¥¿¡ µÑ·ÈÀ¸¸ç

The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold.

12.
±× ¶¥ÀÇ ±ÝÀº Á¤±ÝÀÌ¿ä ±×°÷¿¡´Â º£µ¨¸®¾ö°ú È£¸¶³ëµµ ÀÖÀ¸¸ç

(The gold of that land is good; aromatic resin and onyx are also there.)

µÑ° °ÀÇ À̸§Àº ±âÈ¥ÀÌ¶ó ±¸½º ¿Â ¶¥¿¡ µÑ·È°í

The name of the second river is the Gihon; it winds through the entire land of Cush.

¼¼Â° °ÀÇ À̸§Àº Èýµ¥°ÖÀ̶ó ¾Ñ¼ö¸£ µ¿ÆíÀ¸·Î È帣¸ç ³×° °Àº À¯ºê¶óµ¥´õ¶ó

The name of the third river is the Tigris; it runs along the east side of Asshur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

¿©È£¿Í Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ±× »ç¶÷À» À̲ø¾î ¿¡µ§ µ¿»ê¿¡ µÎ»ç ±×°ÍÀ» ´Ù½º¸®¸ç ÁöÅ°°Ô ÇϽðí

The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.

¿©È£¿Í Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ±× »ç¶÷¿¡°Ô ¸íÇÏ¿© °¡¶ó»ç´ë µ¿»ê °¢Á¾ ³ª¹«ÀÇ ½Ç°ú´Â ³×°¡ ÀÓÀÇ·Î ¸ÔµÇ

And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden;

¼±¾ÇÀ» ¾Ë°Ô ÇÏ´Â ³ª¹«ÀÇ ½Ç°ú´Â ¸ÔÁö ¸»¶ó ³×°¡ ¸Ô´Â ³¯¿¡´Â Á¤³ç Á×À¸¸®¶ó ÇϽô϶ó

but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."

The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."

¿©È£¿Í Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ÈëÀ¸·Î °¢Á¾ µéÁü½Â°ú °øÁßÀÇ °¢Á¾ »õ¸¦ ÁöÀ¸½Ã°í ¾Æ´ãÀÌ ¾î¶»°Ô À̸§À» Áþ³ª º¸½Ã·Á°í ±×°ÍµéÀ» ±×¿¡°Ô·Î À̲ø¾î À̸£½Ã´Ï ¾Æ´ãÀÌ °¢ »ý¹°À» ÀÏÄ´ ¹Ù°¡ °ð ±× À̸§À̶ó

Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name.

¾Æ´ãÀÌ ¸ðµç À°Ãà°ú °øÁßÀÇ »õ¿Í µéÀÇ ¸ðµç Áü½Â¿¡°Ô À̸§À» Áִ϶ó ¾Æ´ãÀÌ µ½´Â ¹èÇÊÀÌ ¾øÀ¸¹Ç·Î
20.
So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all the beasts of the field. But for Adam no suitable helper was found.

¿©È£¿Í Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ¾Æ´ãÀ» ±íÀÌ Àáµé°Ô ÇÏ½Ã´Ï Àáµé¸Å ±×°¡ ±× °¥ºø´ë Çϳª¸¦ ÃëÇÏ°í »ì·Î ´ë½Å ä¿ì½Ã°í

So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh.

Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

¾Æ´ãÀÌ °¡·ÎµÇ ÀÌ´Â ³» »À ÁßÀÇ »À¿ä »ì ÁßÀÇ »ìÀ̶ó ÀÌ°ÍÀ» ³²ÀÚ¿¡°Ô¼ ÃëÇÏ¿´ÀºÁï ¿©ÀÚ¶ó ĪÇϸ®¶ó Çϴ϶ó
23.
The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman,' for she was taken out of man."

ÀÌ·¯¹Ç·Î ³²ÀÚ°¡ ºÎ¸ð¸¦ ¶°³ª ±× ¾Æ³»¿Í ¿¬ÇÕÇÏ¿© µÑÀÌ ÇÑ ¸öÀ» ÀÌ·êÂî·Î´Ù

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

¾Æ´ã°ú ±× ¾Æ³» µÎ »ç¶÷ÀÌ ¹ú°Å¹þ¾úÀ¸³ª ºÎ²ô·¯¿ö ¾Æ´ÏÇϴ϶ó
25.
The man and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.
